Welcome! I work with couples who are navigating a variety of issues. I also work with individuals who are struggling with ADHD, anxiety, anger management, depression, life transitions, grief, and trauma. In addition to my training and experience I also bring 10 years of experience working in education with learning and change.

It may be the accumulation of daily stressors or the smack of a major life crisis that is leaving you feeling overwhelmed, isolated, and unsure of how to move forward. I am here to offer my compassion and support as we work from your strengths to manage stress, process emotions, find meaning, and explore a path forward. I believe that together we can reduce your isolation, develop your resilience, and you can regain a sense of control and connection in your life.

The way that I work is influenced by my training in trauma therapy, attachment therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness, neuroscience, and grief therapy. I continue to seek additional training in various modalities in order to provide holistic therapies that resonate with those that I work with, and that reflect current research and breakthroughs.

From my own personal experiences, I understand that healing takes time, but I also know the profound impact it can have on your life. Making mental health a priority is essential, and I recognize that stepping into this space is sometimes not an easy decision. I appreciate your courage in taking this step, and my commitment is to ensure that your time is valued and your healing journey is honoured.

I welcome you to this work, and to this space!

Integrative Therapy

During our sessions, we may incorporate somatic therapy to help you understand how your body is communicating with you and to attune to its messages. We may employ mindfulness techniques to assist you in maintaining a sense of presence and managing stress. We can use CBT to help you understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours and how these interact to influence your overall well-being. Through narrative therapy, we can explore your story and create one that looks forward with hope and possibility. Attachment therapy can be integrated to help us understand and enhance your relationship patterns. Additionally, we can use insights from neuroscience to understand brain processes in mental health conditions.
